Dell Latitude gets the multi-touch goodness
Today Dell released the much anticipate multi-touch drivers for their Latitude XT. The new driver’s unleash the power of the capacitive touch screen that shipped with the XT. I’ve been using my XT everyday since January and love it, but have been waiting on these drivers ever since I opened the box.
The install process was quite simple, download from support.dell.com install and reboot and then it’s ready to go. Some of the motions I’ve discovered already are the pinch (zoom out) & release (zoom in) and then sliding two finger up, down, left & right which scrolls the screen which has been great for browsing in slate mode.
Overall the multi-touch drivers add some more coolness to the Dell XT and works very well with Ergo. If you have a Dell XT I’d definitely recommend heading over to the Dell Support site and try it out.
