Major changes announced to a Federal approach to ICT
The Australian IT Newspaper has an interesting article on the sweeping changes that the Federal Government are looking into following the Review of the Australian Government's Use of Information and Communication Technology recently presented by Sir Peter Gershon. Some of the major recommendations are to consolidate the number of ICT vendors to give the Federal and State Governments more purchasing power and greater cost savings.
