My first SBTUG
Last Wednesday, after a marathon day of meetings and workshops in Sydney starting at 8am, I got the chance to attend my first Sydney Business Technology User Group meeting. This was a fantastic experience for me, getting the chance to meet people face-to-face that I've only ever spoken to online.
The evening went very well with presentations from:
- Aaron Saikovski, Senior Solutions Specialist with Strategic Data Management and founder of www.ozmoss.com, who presented on Groove 2007
- Catherine Eibner, Senior System Designer for Cybner Computer Solutions specialising in Microsoft Dynamics CRM Implementation & Customisation, who hijacked the 10 minute Member spot to do a quick talk about the new Merge Keyword in SQL 2008
- Craig Bailey, Technical Director for Elcom, who presented the latest in technology news and part 2 of his presentation on the Microsoft 2008 Server Stack
