Windows Vista Service Pack 1 public release
Today, Microsoft have made available Windows Vista Service Pack 1 on Windows Update and the Microsoft Download Center. Vista SP1 address feedback received from end-users and features some significant improvements in performance and reliability. I have been using SP1 on all of my PCs for the last 5 weeks and have noticed these significant improvements, especially on mobile devices.
If you're updating just one computer, it's recommended you update through Windows Update because it will be a much smaller file. If you have multiple computers to update, click on one of the links below:
